Terms & Conditions

LODGE LET – Standard booking will be on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stay booking – 3 nights of more – may be made available during low session periods or at short notice if lodges are free. Please telephone to check if short stay options are available.

BOOKING & PAYMENT – The preferred booking and payment process is through the website’s on-line booking service. Alternatively, you can telephone or email to check availability and make a provisional booking. Provisional bookings will be held for one week until a deposit of £100 has been received by BACS Transfer.

Subject to the acceptance of the booking, you become liable for the full balance of the rental no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival. You will receive an email with a link to the payment portal 4 week before your arrival date. Should you wish to settle the balance earlier, please contact us on 01479 831769.

Should a booking be made within 4 weeks of arrival, full payment must be made at time of booking. Failure to pay the balance of rent by the due date will be treated as cancellation. 

Payment of your deposit is your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

PETS – 1 well behaved dog is welcome in our pet friendly lodges. Any more than one dog must be discussed with the site owners in advance and an additional cleaning fee of £10 per extra dog will be added.

PLEASE NOTE: Sandpiper Lodge is a pet free lodge. No pets are allowed in this lodge. Failure to comply with this rule will result in your booking being cancelled with no refund of payments made.

CANCELLATIONS - You are liable for the full hire of the lodge, unless you cancel in writing more than 28 days before the let was due to start, when the deposit will be retained. If full payment is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking with no refund of deposit.

INSURANCE - You are strongly recommended to take out Holiday Insurance to cover loss or damage to personal effects and cancellation expenses. We insure our lodge against fire, etc. but under no circumstances can we be held liable for any loss or damage to your luggage, jewellery or other property or personal effects.

LODGE LET - Entry is from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and ends at 10 am on the day of departure. Where a late arrival is planned it is essential that we are notified in advance so we can make provision for your arrival. The number of people occupying the lodge must not exceed the number shown in the details of the Booking Form unless discussed and agreed with the owners. We reserve the right to refuse entry or revoke the booking if this condition is not observed. The hired lodge shall be used solely for holiday purposes and shall not be sub-let. The owner or his agents or employees are allowed entry to the lodge for all reasonable purposes.

BREAKAGES - These will be charged to you and must be reported in order that the item(s) may be replaced before the arrival of the new holidaymaker. The lodge and contents must be kept in a clean and tidy condition by you.

LINEN - Sheets/Pillowslips, Towels and Tea Towels will be provided. Beds will be made up to welcome you on arrival.

LOST/FORGOTTEN PROPERTY - We are happy to forward such items to you subject to payment of postage as required.
